Israel – Two New Datasets in LIS
Two new datasets from Israel, IL14 and IL16 (Wave X) have been added to the LIS Database. The datasets are based on the 2014 and 2016 waves of the Household Expenditure Survey (HES) carried out by Central Bureau of Statistics.
In addition to releasing these Wave X datasets, the almost entirety of the Israeli series (all datasets except IL79) has been revised. While most of the changes are relatively minor and have hardly no impact on the DHI variable and the LIS Key Figures, the information on household composition and living arrangements has been improved in the IL86, IL92 and IL97 datasets, giving rise to a substantial upwards revision of the child poverty rates for those two years.
