France 1978 Added to LIS Database
A new dataset from France has been added to the LIS Database, FR78 (Wave I). The dataset is from the Family Budget Survey and is provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
In addition, the entire French series has been revised to make education variables more consistent over time.
Note: Revisions were carried out in the FR84B dataset (now called FR84). The three French datasets that are not based on the Family Budget Surveys (FR79 and FR84A — based on the Survey of Individual Income Tax Returns and FR81 — based on the Survey of Women with Children) are still accessible through LISSY, but they no longer appear in the documentation.
