Awards
LIS maintains an annual peer-reviewed award: The Aldi Hagenaars Memorial Award.
All submissions to the LIS Working Paper Series are considered once a year, according to the eligibility criteria. Award recipients receive a cash prize and an invitation to present the winning paper at the following LIS Introductory Summer Workshop in Luxembourg, all expenses paid.

In 2009, a one time joint Worldbank/ LIS Gender Research Award was granted to reward a paper focused on gender that included middle-income country data.
