2017 Summer Workshop

Workshop Format

The LIS summer workshop will consist of 4 and half days of lectures and lab sessions, taught in English. Participants will have access to computers, but they are also free to work on their laptops.

Throughout the workshop, participants will be involved in the discussions and working on hands-on exercises, and will be invited to optionally present their research work on the final day of the workshop. The scientific usage of LIS/LWS data during lab sessions will be explained only with Stata. Participants will use LIS/LWS data via our remote access system, which anyway provides access to Stata, SPSS, SAS and R.
