We encourage researchers to check the documentation by country very carefully as cross-country results might not be fully comparable:

• Some datasets have been revised (major revisions are announced, minor revisions are not)
• All monetary amounts are reported in national currencies
• All income amounts are annualised
• Some datasets have net income variables only (net of taxes and contributions)
• Some datasets have income in hundreds or thousands of national currency units
• The contents of the weights can differ from dataset to dataset
