A Slow Convergence? Intra-couple Division of Labour and Related Perceptions in South Korea, 2004–2024

This article examines the household division of paid and unpaid work among Korean couples aged 25–49 over the period 2004–2024, using five waves of the Korean Time Use Survey. Drawing on a typology of six couple types based on relative time allocations, it analyses how these arrangements have evolved over two decades and explores their association with housework allocation and general life satisfaction.
