US Office of LIS

The US Office of LIS is a satellite, contained within the new Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality and located at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York (CUNY). Directed by Janet Gornick, Professor of Political Science and Sociology at CUNY, the office plays a key role in LIS’ fundraising – especially with respect to funding bodies located within the US – and it serves as a liaison to researchers, educators, policy-makers, and journalists throughout the United States.
