How to: JSI
How do I submit a job using the JSI?
The Job Submission Interface (JSI) is a secure Java application that allows researchers to:
- Write and submit job requests
- Review job requests and view corresponding outputs
- Track the status of the job requests in process (“received”, “processing”, “set to review”, etc.)
- Access the history of job requests
The Job Submission Interface can be launched either from the LIS Website or downloaded and installed on your own computer. LIS recommends the first option so that any future upgrades of the JSI will be automatically applied.
Whichever method you choose for running the JSI, you must first install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE 1.6+) on your computer.
Download the latest version of JRE.
Note: Administrator rights are required to install the JRE.
Instructions for installing the JSI are available for PC users & MAC users
